To know me is to see beauty in a smile, to hear a song in laughter, to feel warmth around two people in love... I face each day with beauty and humor. As a mom of three (who travels frequently as a family!), having a sense of humor is crucial! Mark Twain says it best, "Humor is mankind's greatest blessing."
Having a good sense of humor is so important as a wedding photographer. My couples become my best buds, and it is so important to me that you are relaxed, laughing, and having a great time on your wedding. With over 8 years of photography experience, I know that real emotion is what truly sets an image apart from the rest. It is what brings life to your photograph and what gives you the ability to ignite those same feelings again.

Homeschooling my babies is one of the greatest joys of my life. As a working homeschool mama, life can sometimes feel a little hectic and messy. I have learned to embrace the chaos (most of the time) and just enjoy this busy season that the Lord has given me.
I'm a homeschooling mama
Family is truly the "why" in my life. That's why I became a photographer in the first place. I love that my job is literally capturing families interacting, loving, and sharing together on one of the most significant days of your life. Fun fact - I am one of FIVE sisters. Yep... and I am smack dab in the middle at number three. Not to sound bias... but middles are the best kinds of humans ;)

There is truly no sweeter pup than this one right here. Gracie has been through everything with me. She was there to snuggle during our first anniversary when my husband was deployed. She was there by my side during out first few weeks as new parents. Gracie is the kind of dog that will sleep through my kids building a lego town on top of her. She is lazy, wrinkly, kind, and perfect.

I am truly a foodie at heart! My hubs gets me cookbooks as anniversary gifts almost every year and I LOVE IT! Right now, I am working through Magnolia Table (Vol 2) and it is truly amazing. I joke (half joke because this is really going to happen) that after I retire I am going to do a road trip of all the restaurants on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I am a big believer in having a home that is inviting and relaxing with delicious, home cooked food at the table for friends and family to enjoy.
